I found the speech by Albert E.N. Gray, The Common Denominator of Success, in Earl Nightingale´s book This Is Earl Nightingale. In the speech, Albert talks about, as Earl puts it, the few who succeed in a world where success is available to everyone.
Success is something achieved by the minority of men and it is therefore unnatural and not to be achieved by following our natural likes and dislikes, nor by being guided by our natural preferences and prejudices.
