Reading the list of the most powerful passports in the world made me feel grateful since my nation ended up in the first place. If you're a citizen of Liberia, you have to work a staggering 278 hours to be able to pay for your passport, in Sweden only one.
GoEuro assessed passports from 51 countries based on visa-free access across borders, pricing and the number of hours a citizen would need to work at minimum wage in order to afford their nation’s passport.
Although four other countries - Finland, Germany, the UK and US - have visa-free access to 174 countries across the globe, Swedish nationals would only need to work for one hour in order to afford their passport.
